An advanced MBBR and IFAS media for biological wastewater treatment
Levapor is an advanced MBBR (Moving Bed Bio Film Reactor) and IFAS (Integrated Fixed Film Activated Sludge) media for biological wastewater treatment. Levapor MBBR media is made of reticulated high foam impregnated with activated carbon. It provides a very high specific surface area, high adsorption capacity, and high inner porosity. These specific properties of Levapor MBBR Media allow the growth of highly active and efficient biofilms on the carrier.
Levapor PU foam MBBR media can be applied for BOD/COD reduction, Ammonia Nitrogen reduction via Nitrification and Denitrification. Application of Levapor media provides better efficiency, lower CAPEX, and OPEX compared to efficiency, lower OPEX, and like Activated Sludge, Trickling filter, and plastic MBBR media.

Levapor PU foam-based MBBR and IFAS media can be applied to reduce BOD, COD, and Ammonia Nitrogen in biological wastewater treatment for the treatment of municipal sewage and industrial effluents. Because of the specific properties of high surface area, high adsorption capacity, and high inner porosity, Levapor MBBR media can be applied with any biological process such as activated sludge, SBR, extended aeration, or plug flow CAS.
